Invoicing Terms

I offer hourly and per project invoicing options, as well as, discounted pre-paid retainer packages. Hourly work is billed weekly and per-project and pre-paid packages are billed monthly.

All time is rounded up to the nearest quarter hour.

Special supplies, 3rd-party services, postage/shipping, etc. are billed at cost plus 5%. Mileage is billed at the current I.R.S. standard rate plus contracted hourly rate.

"Urgent" services are available with an additional surcharge. Turnaround and surcharge are determined on a case-by-case basis.

A $30.00 minimum will apply to all service invoices (does not apply to invoices for supply/3rd party expenses).

Payment is required within 10 calendar days of invoice date.

Preferred payment method is through Chase QuickPay. Chase QuickPay is completely secure and free to use; you do not even need a Chase Account to register and pay your invoice. I also accept Credit Card and Paypal payments with a 3% surcharge.

An initial late fee of 3% and subsequent monthly interest charge of 3% of the total outstanding amount will be assessed on any unpaid invoices after the due date.

Returned payment fee is $35.00 plus any applicable late charges.

New clients may be required to submit a down-payment.

Although I do work on an hourly basis, you may find more value from project-based pricing. Just give me a call or use the contact form to let me know what you need and I will provide a customized quote. Additionally, if you have a variety of tasks that need to be done on a regular basis or have a relatively good idea of how much help you need per month, I have 4 value-priced packages to choose from.

Monthly Pre-paid Packages
Pre-paid packages (or retainers) are a great way to lock in a discounted rate, for specific services, while ensuring that your work requests receive priority status. Please contact me for a current rate schedule.

All packages are prepaid at the first of the month and expire on the last day of the month.

Packages are not prorated. If you buy a package in the middle of the month, please ensure that you will be able to utilize ALL hours for the package you purchase before the end of the month.

Hours in excess of the pre-paid package amount will be billed at $30.00 (notification will be sent when you are out of pre-paid hours). Unused hours do not rollover and are not refunded.
